Notifications Presets

Setting up a notification used to mean creating a template, configuring a workflow, and wiring the right trigger and condition together, with no guided starting point. With Presets, you skip straight to the part that matters: click the rule you need below, and it opens already configured, ready for you to pick a channel and a template.

Summary

  1. What are Presets?
  2. Presets catalog
  3. What happens after you click a preset

1. What are Presets?

Presets are ready-made rules for the most common moments you'd want to alert a customer about their shipment. Each preset is already mapped to the correct Trigger and Condition, so you only choose the Channel (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp) and the Template.

📌 Note: Presets aren't tied to a single channel. You can activate the same preset more than once, on different channels, for example Delivered on both Email and WhatsApp.

2. Presets catalog

Click a preset below to open it directly in the workflow editor, already pre-filled.

  • Label created — the moment a shipping label is generated. Want to prevent a customer ticket asking when the shipment will be prepared and shipped? → Use this preset
  • Info Received — the carrier has received shipment data but hasn't picked it up yet. Useful to reassure customers early on international or longer-lead-time shipments, where the gap before pickup can otherwise look like inactivity. → Use this preset
  • In transit — the package is on its way. Reduces "where is my order?" tickets, especially valuable when you want to keep customers reassured while the package is en route. → Use this preset
  • Out for Delivery — the package will arrive soon. This is the message with the highest read rate, since it calls for same-day action (being home, alerting a neighbor); it's one of the three highest-impact presets. If you can only activate one preset, make it this one. → Use this preset
  • Available at PUDO — the package is ready for pickup at a collection point. Essential if you use pickup-point carriers: the package stays available only for a limited number of days, and without a notification the customer risks finding out too late. Remember, you can customize the notification template to add pickup-specific instructions, such as required identity documents or other requirements specific to each carrier. → Use this preset
  • Failed attempt — a delivery attempt didn't succeed. This is the an highest-impact preset for reducing "where is my order?" tickets: the customer can react right away instead of contacting support. → Use this preset
  • Exception — something unusual happened with the shipment (e.g. a customs hold or address issue). Lets you get ahead of a problem before the customer notices it themselves and opens a ticket. Remember, you can even target a specific exception reason by adjusting the tracking status condition in the workflow. → Use this preset
  • Delivered — confirms the delivery was successful. One of the three highest-impact presets, and the best moment to add a review or support center link. → Use this preset
  • Leave a feedback — asks the customer for a review after delivery. Turns a satisfied customer into a public review, without adding a manual step to your post-purchase process. → Use this preset

3. What happens after you click a preset

  1. The workflow editor opens, already pre-filled with the correct Trigger and Condition for that rule. You don't need to touch these fields.
  2. Choose the Channel: Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  3. Select the Template to send for that channel.
  4. The workflow name is pre-filled based on the preset; you can edit it if you want.
  5. Click Save workflow, then Activate to make it live.

💡 Tip: Not sure which presets to start with? Out for Delivery and Delivered cover the two moments with the biggest impact on "where is my order?" tickets, for the least setup effort.
