How can I test ShippyPro platform?

Even though ShippyPro doesn't offer a dedicated sandbox or test environment, you can still explore and test the platform using the following methods:

1. Use the Generic Carrier to simulate shipments and generate test labels

You can connect the Generic Carrier to your account to simulate a carrier and create fictitious shipping labels.
This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the platform's workflow without using real carrier credentials.

2. Use Test Credentials provided by your carrier

Some carriers can provide you with test credentials specifically designed for trial purposes.
Once you have them, you can enable the Test Mode checkbox when configuring the carrier connection inside ShippyPro, if available.

3. Create test shipments using Manual Shipment Creation or Excel Order Import

You can manually create test shipments from the Add Order button, or upload orders via Excel and process them as test shipments.

4. Test your integration with the API Console

If you're integrating ShippyPro via API, you can test your API calls using the built-in API Console, which allows you to validate your requests and responses directly within your ShippyPro account.
