How to connect Fulfillment by Amazon v2 (FBA v2) to ShippyPro
Discover here how to connect Fulfillment by Amazon v2 in just a few steps!
Let's see how you can connect Fulfillment by Amazon v2 (FBA v2) to ShippyPro in just a few steps.
With FBA v2, ShippyPro connects to Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF). Your stock is stored in Amazon fulfillment centers: when you ship an order with FBA v2, ShippyPro sends a fulfillment request to Amazon, and Amazon picks, packs and ships the parcel from its own warehouse.
You can use FBA v2 for orders from any sales channel, not only Amazon. The only requirement is that the order SKUs exist in your FBA inventory.
⚠️ The old Fulfillment by Amazon (v1) connector is no longer available. If you still use it, disconnect it from the Carriers page and connect Fulfillment by Amazon v2 with your Amazon credentials.

Before connecting FBA v2 to ShippyPro, make sure you have:
- An active Amazon Seller Central account enrolled in Fulfillment by Amazon.
- Available inventory in the Amazon fulfillment centers of the region you ship from. Without FBA stock, no rates will be shown.
- Matching SKUs: the SKU of each product in ShippyPro must match the Merchant SKU in your FBA inventory. If the SKU is missing, ShippyPro uses the EAN, and if that is missing too, the MPN.
- A Seller Central user with permission to authorize third-party applications. If you don't have it, ask the administrator of your Amazon account.
💡 You don't need to retrieve your Seller ID or an authorization token manually: the connection is made directly through the Amazon login.

⚠️ Once connected, Seller Central Region and Seller Central Country can no longer be edited. To change them, delete the connection and create a new one.
3. How shipping with FBA v2 works
FBA v2 does not generate labels: Amazon prints the label and ships the parcel from its own warehouse.
- Open the order you want to ship and request the rates. ShippyPro shows one rate for each shipping speed Amazon can offer for that order and destination.
- Select the rate and create the shipment. ShippyPro sends Amazon the fulfillment request with the recipient address and the order lines.
- Amazon prepares and ships the order. In ShippyPro the shipment is created without a label and without a tracking code.
Good to know:
- Rates: they are the sum of Amazon's fulfillment fees (e.g. per unit, per order, transportation), VAT excluded, because Amazon returns no tax data. Delivery days are estimated by Amazon.
- Order lines: each order can contain up to 30 lines.
- Destinations: domestic and international shipments. Amazon decides which destinations and speeds are available, based on stock and fulfillment center.
- Reprint: if the order was already sent to Amazon, a reprint does not create a new fulfillment order (Amazon would reject a duplicate order ID).
- Shipment status and cancellation: both are managed from Seller Central.
4. Supported services
Services match Amazon's shipping speeds. You don't choose them in the connection: they appear as rates on the order, only if the marketplace and your account support them.
|
Service |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Standard |
Amazon's standard speed. |
|
Expedited |
Faster delivery than Standard. |
|
Priority |
The fastest speed offered by Amazon. |
|

5. Additional options
🧪 Test mode
Select Test mode to use the Amazon sandbox environment. The sandbox only returns fixed sample data for the US marketplace: you cannot test a real order.
⚠️ Do not use Test mode to ship real orders. Disable it before going live.
🏷️ Custom label
Enter a Custom label to easily recognize the connection, for example if you manage several Amazon accounts or regions.
6. Troubleshooting & ErrorsFBA v2 errors show the message returned by Amazon. Here are the most common cases.
|
Error |
Cause |
Solution |
|---|---|---|
|
Unfulfillable speed with reason InventoryUnavailable |
The SKU is not in the FBA inventory of the region, or stock is insufficient. |
Check on Seller Central that the SKU matches the Merchant SKU and that there is enough stock. |
|
Unfulfillable speed with reason InvalidDestinationAddress |
The recipient address is not valid for Amazon. |
Correct the address and request the rates again. |
|
Speed with reason ...NotAvailable (e.g. ExpeditedNotAvailable) |
Amazon does not offer that speed for the route. |
Choose another available speed. |
|
Can't find the items of order <ID> |
The order has no product lines in ShippyPro. |
Add the products to the order and try again. |
|
invalid_grant or token error |
The Amazon authorization is no longer valid (Amazon requires yearly renewal). |
Connect FBA v2 again through the Amazon login. |
|
Duplicate order after a timeout |
The request timed out, but Amazon had already received the order. |
Before retrying, check on Seller Central whether the fulfillment order already exists. |
|
Internal Server Error |
Temporary communication issue with Amazon. |
Try again in a few minutes. If it persists, contact ShippyPro support. |
💡 The error Terms and conditions not accepted for carrier XYZ refers to Amazon Merchant Fulfillment (AMF), not to FBA v2.
7. FAQ
Can I ship orders that don't come from Amazon with FBA v2?
Yes. FBA v2 accepts orders from any sales channel. The SKU of each order line must match the Merchant SKU in your FBA inventory.
Why don't I see a label or a tracking code?
Amazon prints the label and ships the parcel from its own warehouse, and returns no tracking to ShippyPro. You can follow the shipment status on Seller Central.
Why don't I see any rates?
Usually the SKU is not in your FBA inventory or it is out of stock. Also check that the region and country of the connection match your Seller Central account.
Do rates include VAT?
No. ShippyPro shows the sum of Amazon's fulfillment fees with 0% VAT, because Amazon returns no tax data.
How do I cancel an FBA v2 shipment?
Cancellation is not available from ShippyPro. Cancel the fulfillment order directly on Seller Central.
Can I ship an order in multiple parcels?
You can't set up multi-parcel shipments: Amazon decides how many packages to ship the order in.
What is the difference between FBA v2 and Amazon Merchant Fulfillment (AMF)?
With FBA v2, Amazon fulfills the order from its own warehouse. With AMF, you ship from your own warehouse and buy the label through Amazon Buy Shipping.
Do I need to reconnect FBA v2 periodically?
Amazon requires applications to be re-authorized once a year. If you get a token error, connect FBA v2 again through the Amazon login.
For inventory or fulfillment issues, contact Amazon Seller Support from Seller Central.
