1. Before you start

To connect Easy Mail you need:

• An active contract with Easy Mail.
• Your Easy Mail web service Username and Password. Easy Mail provides them: if you don't have them, ask your Easy Mail sales contact.
• Your Customer ID (cost center), only if Easy Mail assigned you one. It is optional.
• A sender address in Greece: Easy Mail only accepts shipments that start in Greece.

If you can't find Easy Mail among the available carriers, contact our Support team.

1. Go to the Carriers page and click on the Easy Mail logo.
2. Fill in the connection fields:

ShippyPro checks your credentials with Easy Mail right away: if the Username or Password is wrong, the connection is not saved.

Easy Mail has no selectable services, so you don't need to choose any service in the configuration.

3. Additional options

Test Mode

⚠️ Easy Mail has no test environment, so the connection has no Test Mode. Every shipment you create is a real shipment. If you create one just to try things out, delete it from ShippyPro right away.

Label format

You can choose between PDF A6 (landscape, one page per parcel), PDF A4 and ZPL 203 dpi (4×6 format). The order reference, cash on delivery amount, insured value and carrier notes are printed on the label.

Shipping to Cyprus by sea (By Sea)

Shipments to Cyprus travel by air by default. To ship by sea, enable the By Sea option when you create the shipment. The option has no effect on shipments within Greece.

Cash on delivery

Easy Mail supports cash on delivery paid in cash or by check or cashier's check, both in Greece and to Cyprus. The amount must be in euro (EUR): a cash on delivery in another currency is refused before the shipment is created.

Insurance

You can insure the shipment by entering the value to insure. The value is converted to euro and printed on the label.

Multiparcel shipments

You can create shipments with more than one parcel. Easy Mail generates one label per parcel, all in the same PDF, and one main tracking number for the whole shipment.

Return labels

You can create return labels: Easy Mail picks up the parcel at your customer's address and delivers it to you.

Pickup booking

You can book a pickup with Easy Mail and cancel it if you no longer need it. The pickup is requested for the chosen date, in a window from morning to afternoon.

Proof of delivery (POD)

You can download the proof of delivery with the recipient's signature.

4. Troubleshooting & Errors

Easy Mail often returns error messages in Greek. Here are the most common cases and how to fix them.

❓ "Δεν βρέθηκε ο Αποστολέας" (sender not found)

Your credentials are wrong. Check the Username and Password in your Easy Mail connection and, if the problem persists, verify them with your Easy Mail contact.

❓ "An error occurred while inserting."

This is a generic Easy Mail error: it usually means a field is missing or invalid. Check in particular:

• Postal code: numbers only, 5 digits for Greece and 4 for Cyprus.
• Recipient address and city filled in.
• Recipient phone filled in.
• Weight and number of parcels.

If the data is correct and the error persists, contact our Support team.

❓ Destination not supported

Easy Mail only ships within Greece and from Greece to Cyprus. A shipment to any other destination is refused before it is created.

❓ Cash on delivery in a currency other than euro

Easy Mail only accepts cash on delivery in euro. Set the cash on delivery amount in EUR and create the shipment again.

❓ I can't delete the shipment

You can only delete a shipment until the courier has processed it. After that, contact Easy Mail directly.

❓ Internal Server Error or connection issues

This is usually a temporary issue with the Easy Mail service. Try again in a few minutes. If the error persists, contact our Support team with the order or shipment ID.

Can I create test shipments with Easy Mail?

No, Easy Mail has no test environment and every shipment you create is real. If you create a shipment to test the connection, delete it from ShippyPro right away.

Which countries can I ship to with Easy Mail?

You can ship within Greece and from Greece to Cyprus. Shipments must always start in Greece.

Can I use cash on delivery in a currency other than euro?

No. Easy Mail only handles cash on delivery in euro, so ShippyPro refuses a cash on delivery in another currency before creating the shipment.

How do I track a multiparcel shipment?

Each shipment has one main tracking number that covers all its parcels. Use this number to delete the shipment too.

Are there character limits on shipment data?

Yes. Recipient name or company and city: 50 characters. Address (the two address lines are merged): 70 characters. Email: 50 characters; a longer email is not sent. Carrier notes: 100 characters. Only the last 12 digits of the phone number are sent.

Can I also follow the shipment on the Easy Mail website?
