I cannot connect Woocommerce

If you're facing some issues during Woocommerce connection, there's nothing to panic about!

Keep reading these simple tips and tricks to start shipping in nothing flat!

 

Check the Webhooks

Verify that Webhooks are present and active from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > WebHooks.

Remember to enable on your servers not only traditional API methods (GET, POST), but also PUT

 

Check API Legacy 

Verify that API Legacy has been enabled from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Legacy API.

 

Please note that Legacy API option needs to be enabled by an Admin account.

 

Check if User have Read/Write Permissions

Verify that the account used for the connection is enabled with Read/Write Permissions, otherwise you won't be able to correctly connect your Marketplace.

Check the Logs related to ShippyPro connection

For this operation you'll need to ask your technician to carry some checks on the log that concerned your attempts of connection, then he/she should be able to identify the issue.

Check if you have a firewall activated

It may be that you have a firewall, or that you use Cloudflare, and one of these has blacklisted our Production IP.

Please write to our Support Team to supply you with our Production IP to whitelist.

Pages format

It's possible that the issue may be laying on your marketplace's pages format. Please note that they should be set up as /product/X.

Same connection for a different ShippyPro account

If trying to connect your WooCommerce account nothing seems to happen, please check that your WooCommerce account hasn't been already connected to another ShippyPro profile. In that case, delete the previous marketplace and try again.

 

Here a list of the most common error messages and their resolutions:

 

Missing parameter app_name

This error appears to advise you that inside the URL it hasn't been included your app_name.
​In case of doubts, your technicians will be able to help you with Developers language!

 

The requested URL /wc-auth/v1/authorize was not found on this server.

In this case you need to check that the address of the store included in your WooCommerce profile is correct.

 

What can I do if I'm facing "Params.from_address.country: Must be at most 2 characters long" error?

In case your API order resulted in "Params.from_address.country: Must be at most 2 characters long" error means that Origin Country format is not correct.

Proceed from WooCommerce > Shipping > ShippyPro Live Shipping rates > Origin Country, it needs to be in ISO format, e.g. IT, ES, DE etc.

If you carefully followed the steps above you should be now good to go!
