What happens when you run out of shipments?
Here's how your shipment allowance works and what to do when it runs out.
Are you about to use all the shipments included in your plan? Let's see how your allowance works and what happens next, depending on whether auto-renewal is on or off.
Summary:
1. How shipments are counted
Monthly plans: your shipments are counted against the allowance for your monthly plan period.
Annual plans: your shipments are counted against the full yearly total, with no monthly cap. For example, an annual plan with a range of 2,000 shipments per month gives you 24,000 shipments to use across the year. You can use more than 2,000 in a single month as long as you have shipments left in your yearly allowance.
2. What happens when shipments run out
Auto-renewal is on
Your plan renews automatically as soon as you use all the included shipments, even if the original expiry date has not arrived. It renews in the same shipment range, not automatically in a higher range.
Your shipment allowance resets and a new billing period starts that day. A monthly plan renews for another month; an annual plan renews for another year. The new expiry date is calculated from the early renewal date.
Auto-renewal is off
Your plan expires early when you use all the included shipments. To continue shipping, you must buy a new plan from Plans, choosing the plan type and duration.
📌 Note: There are no shipment top-ups or extra packs. You cannot add a specific number of shipments to your active plan.
3. How to get more shipments
If you still have shipments available and need a higher allowance, you have two options:
- Upgrade now: upgrade to a higher shipment range from Plans while your plan is active. The additional shipments are available immediately, and your current expiry date stays the same.
- Choose a higher range for the next renewal: use the Shipment range for next renewal dropdown on Plans. This changes the range for your next renewal, not your current allowance.
You can purchase shipment ranges of 2,000, 4,000 and 6,000 in the app. If you need a range above 6,000, the Plans page directs you to Sales.
