How to connect Planzer to ShippyPro 

In this article, you will learn how to connect Planzer to ShippyPro and configure your Swiss domestic delivery service shipments.

1. Before you start

To set up Planzer, you need to have an active Planzer account with API access. If you don't have API credentials yet, please contact your Planzer point of contact to request access.

Planzer specializes in domestic parcel delivery within Switzerland only.


2. Carrier's configuration

Follow these steps to connect Planzer to your ShippyPro account:

  1. Log in to your ShippyPro account
  2. Navigate to Carriers
  3. Scroll down and click on the Planzer logo
  4. A connection modal will appear. Fill in the required fields:
    • Username: Enter your Planzer API username
    • Password: Enter your Planzer API password
    • Customer ID: Enter your Planzer customer identifier
    • Department ID: Enter your Planzer department identifier
    • Account ID: Enter your Planzer account identifier
  5. Click Save to establish the connection

ShippyPro will automatically validate your credentials. If successful, Planzer will appear as an active carrier in your account.

Configure your preferences:

  • Label type:
    • PDF A6
    • ZPL 200 DPI
  • Service Type:
    • Planzer Standard (default service)
  • Test Mode: Enable this option if you want to use the sandbox environment for testing purposes

Service Types

  • Planzer Standard: The default and only available service for domestic parcel delivery within Switzerland

Multiparcel Shipments

Planzer supports sending multiple packages (transport units) in a single shipment. When you create a multiparcel shipment:

  • All packages are sent in one request
  • You receive one label for the entire shipment
  • Each package receives its own tracking code

Each transport unit in a multiparcel shipment will be tracked individually.

Delivery Instructions

You can add specific delivery instructions to your shipments using the Carrier Notes field. These instructions will be visible to the Planzer driver and included on the delivery documentation.

Label Formats

Planzer supports the following label formats:

  • PDF A6: Standard PDF label format (100x150mm)
  • ZPL 200 DPI: Thermal label format for 200 DPI printers (typically Zebra)

Make sure your label printer is compatible with your selected format.
