How to connect Meest to ShippyPro
In this article, you will learn how to connect Meest to ShippyPro and configure your cross-border and last-mile delivery shipments across Europe.
Summary:
1. Before you start
Meest is a cross-border carrier providing international shipping and last-mile delivery across Europe through downstream local partners. This integration focuses on cross-border shipping only — domestic services are not supported.
To set up Meest, you need to have an active Meest account with API access. If you don't have API credentials yet, please contact your Meest point of contact to request access.
2. Carrier's configuration
Follow these steps to connect Meest to your ShippyPro account:
- Log in to your ShippyPro account
- Navigate to Connections > Carriers
- Scroll down and click on the Meest logo
- A connection modal will appear. Fill in the required fields:
- Partner Key: Enter your Meest partner key (provided by Meest)
- Secret Key: Enter your Meest secret key (provided by Meest)
- Client TLA: Enter your 3-character merchant prefix assigned by Meest (e.g. "IVS")
- Injection Point ID: Enter your numeric hub identifier (provided by Meest)
- Service Type: Select Home Delivery, PUDO, or Returns
- Label Type: Select PDF A6 or ZPL 100x150mm 203 DPI
- Click Save to establish the connection
ShippyPro will automatically validate your credentials. If successful, Meest will appear as an active carrier in your account.
Optional Configuration:
- Return Label In The Box: Enable this option if you want every outbound shipment to automatically generate a return label as well
- Test Mode: This is a display/billing setting only — test and production shipments use the same endpoint, with only the credentials differing

- Returns: For merchants shipping only returns through this connection. Requires referencing the original outbound Meest parcel number
Multiparcel Shipments
Meest does not support multiparcel shipments — each shipment is limited to a single parcel.
PickUp/DropOff (PUDO)
Meest supports delivery to pickup points and lockers across its network of last-mile partners. When using this service, you'll need to select both the last-mile carrier and the specific pickup point for the delivery.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Meest supports Cash on Delivery. The COD amount and currency will be applied automatically when present on the order.
Return Labels
Meest supports two return options:
- Standalone Return: Create a return shipment referencing the original outbound Meest parcel number via the Origin Parcel Number carrier option
- Return Label in the Box: When enabled in your carrier configuration, every outbound shipment automatically generates an accompanying return label in the same request
Closeout
Closeout is a mandatory daily step with Meest. Shipments must be closed out (manifested) before they can be picked up. A single closeout can include multiple destinations — orders to EU destinations are grouped onto one manifest, while orders to other countries (such as Ukraine or Switzerland) each get their own manifest. If one manifest fails, the others will still be processed successfully.
Carrier Options
Meest offers additional options to customize your shipments:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Pickup Point ID | Required when Service Type is set to PUDO — identifies the specific pickup point or locker for delivery |
| Last Mile Carrier | The downstream last-mile carrier used for final delivery (e.g. a specific local courier). Required for PUDO and Returns; optional for Home Delivery |
| Origin Parcel Number | Required when shipping a standalone return — references the original outbound Meest parcel number being returned |
Label Formats
Meest supports the following label formats:
- PDF A6: Standard PDF label format (105x148mm), portrait orientation
- ZPL: Thermal label format 100x150mm at 203 DPI
Make sure your label printer is compatible with your selected format.
Tracking
All Meest shipments can be tracked using the Meest parcel number provided after shipment creation. Tracking information is available within ShippyPro.
4. Troubleshooting & Errors
Common Issues:
❓ Can I ship domestic shipments within Ukraine using this connector?
A: No, this integration is focused exclusively on cross-border shipping. Domestic Ukraine shipments are not supported.
❓ What countries does Meest support?
A: Meest supports EU destinations through various downstream last-mile carriers, as well as Ukraine (cleared through customs directly by Meest). Available destinations and last-mile carriers may vary — contact Meest for the full current list.
❓ Why is my authentication failing?
A: Double-check that you have entered all credentials correctly:
- Partner Key
- Secret Key
- Client TLA
- Injection Point ID
All fields are required. If you continue to experience issues, contact Meest support for verification of your API access.
❓ Do I need to perform a daily closeout?
A: Yes, closeout is mandatory with Meest. Make sure to close out your shipments at the end of each day — this is required before shipments can be picked up.
❓ Can I cancel/void a shipment after creating it?
A: Yes, but only before the shipment has been included in a closeout (manifest). Once closed out, cancellation is no longer possible through ShippyPro.
❓ What do I need for PUDO deliveries?
A: You'll need to select both a Last Mile Carrier and a specific Pickup Point ID when creating a PUDO shipment.
