Let's see how you can connect GLS ShipIT to ShippyPro in just a few steps.

1. Before you start
To connect GLS ShipIT, you need to first ask your GLS Sales Person for the following credentials:

Client Secret
-
Contact ID

Then you can insert the credentials in the Carriers page, clicking on the GLS ShipIT logo.

Parcel: Standard parcel shipment service.

Express: Faster delivery options for fast delivery.
4. Additional options
Besides your credentials, you'll also see some further options. Let's take a look at them!

Sender Address: you can choose one address among your address list and set it as default

Enable Flex Delivery Service: Activate this option to allow recipients to customize their delivery preferences, such as changing the delivery date, redirecting to another address, or picking up at a GLS ParcelShop.

Test Mode: Flag this option in order to create test shipments.
The "Test Mode" option should be flagged only if you have test credentials, not production ones!
If you want, you can also enter a Custom Label to recognize the connection among all the others.
5. Troubleshooting & Errors
Internal Server Error
Check if your GLS ShipIT connection is in Test Mode. Ensure you are using the correct test or production credentials depending on your settings.
Invalid Credentials
Double-check your Client ID, Client Secret, and Contact ID to ensure they are entered correctly. Contact your GLS Sales Person if the issue persists.
The services ShopDeliveryService, FlexDeliveryService cannot be combined with the remaining services of the shipment
You cannot select both the delivery at a Parcel Shop and the Flex delivery service.
If you want to ship to a PUDO, you will need to remove the Flex delivery service flag in the GLS Ship IT connection from Carriers>GLSShipIT>Edit
I cannot select any PUDO / No PUDO is showing up
