How to connect Emirates Express Courier to ShippyPro

1. Before you start
To set up Emirates Express Courier, you need to have an active ECX account with API access. If you don't have API credentials yet, please contact your Emirates Express Courier point of contact to request access.
Emirates Express Courier serves both UAE domestic shipping and international destinations.
2. Carrier's configuration
Follow these steps to connect Emirates Express Courier to your ShippyPro account:
- Log in to your ShippyPro account
- Navigate to Connections > Carriers
- Scroll down and click on the Emirates Express Courier logo
- A connection modal will appear. Fill in the required fields:
- Client ID: Enter your OAuth2 client ID (provided by Emirates Express Courier)
- Client Secret: Enter your OAuth2 client secret (provided by Emirates Express Courier)
- Service: Select Express or Standard
- Label format: Select PDF A6 or ZPL
- Click Save to establish the connection
ShippyPro will automatically validate your credentials. If successful, Emirates Express Courier will appear as an active carrier in your account.
Optional Configuration:
- Return label in the box: Enable this option if you want every outbound shipment to automatically generate a return label as well
- Test Mode: Enable this option if you want to use the sandbox environment for testing purposes

Multiparcel Shipments
Emirates Express Courier supports sending multiple parcels in a single shipment.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Emirates Express Courier supports Cash on Delivery. The COD amount and currency will be applied automatically when a COD amount is present on the order.
Return Labels
Emirates Express Courier supports two return options:
- Standalone Return: Create a return label independently, referencing the original outbound AWB via the Original AWB carrier option (falls back to the shipment's master tracking number if left empty)
- Return Label in the Box: When enabled in your carrier configuration, every outbound shipment automatically generates an accompanying return label, linked to that shipment's tracking number
International Shipments
For international shipments, Emirates Express Courier automatically generates a commercial invoice, including customs details for each item in the shipment.

Label Formats

- PDF A6: Standard PDF label format, portrait orientation
- ZPL: Thermal label format at 203 DPI

4. Troubleshooting & Errors
❓ Why is my connection failing?
A: Double-check that you have entered your Client ID and Client Secret correctly. Both fields are required. If you continue to experience issues, contact Emirates Express Courier support for verification of your API access.
