How to connect DSV to ShippyPro

1. Before you start

To set up DSV, you need to have an active DSV account with API access. If you don't have API credentials yet, please contact your DSV point of contact to request access.

2. Carrier's configuration

Follow these steps to connect DSV to your ShippyPro account:

1. Log in to your ShippyPro account
2. Navigate to Connections > Carriers
3. Scroll down and click on the DSV logo
4. A connection modal will appear. Fill in the required fields:
   • Username: Enter your OAuth2 client username
   • Password: Enter your OAuth2 client password
   • Booking Address ID: Enter your MDM ID for the booking party address
   • Label Type: Select your preferred label format (PDF A6 or ZPL A6)
   • Service Type: Select Road Transport
5. Click Save to establish the connection

ShippyPro will automatically validate your credentials. If successful, DSV will appear as an active carrier in your account.

Optional Configuration:

• Test Mode: Enable this option if you want to use the sandbox environment for testing purposes

Multiparcel Shipments

DSV supports sending multiple packages in a single shipment. Each package will be tracked individually while being part of the same booking.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

DSV supports Cash on Delivery service. The COD amount will be automatically converted to EUR currency for processing.

Insurance

DSV offers insurance coverage for your shipments. Insurance amounts are processed in EUR currency with STD (standard) category coverage.

Label Formats

DSV supports the following label formats:

• PDF A6: Standard PDF label format in A6 portrait orientation (105x148mm)
• ZPL A6: Thermal label format 100x150mm at 203 DPI (typically for Zebra printers)

Make sure your label printer is compatible with your selected format.
