How to connect DPD CH to ShippyPro

In this article, you will learn how to connect DPD Switzerland to ShippyPro and configure your Swiss parcel delivery shipments.

1. Before you start

To set up DPD CH, you need to have an active DPD Switzerland account with API access. If you don't have API credentials yet, please contact your DPD Switzerland point of contact to request access.

DPD CH specializes in domestic parcel delivery within Switzerland.


2. Carrier's configuration

Follow these steps to connect DPD CH to your ShippyPro account:

  1. Log in to your ShippyPro account
  2. Navigate to Carriers
  3. Scroll down and click on the DPD CH logo
  4. A connection modal will appear. Fill in the required fields:
    • Delis ID: Enter your DPD customer ID (Delis ID)
    • Password: Enter your DPD account password
    • Sending Depot: Enter your DPD sending depot code (e.g., "0615")
    • Label Type: Select your preferred label format (PDF A6 or ZPL 100x150mm 203 DPI)
    • Service Type: Select your default shipping service from the available options
  5. Click Save to establish the connection

ShippyPro will automatically validate your credentials. If successful, DPD CH will appear as an active carrier in your account.

Optional Configuration:

  • Test Mode: Enable this option if you want to use the sandbox environment for testing purposes

DPD Predict Notification

Services that include "Predict" in their name (CLASSIC Predict, COMFORT, HOME, PARCELBOX) automatically send email notifications to the recipient about the upcoming delivery. When using these services, make sure to include the recipient's email address in your shipment details.

Multiparcel Shipments

DPD CH supports sending multiple parcels in a single shipment. When you create a multiparcel shipment:

  • All parcels are sent in one request
  • You receive one combined label for the entire shipment
  • The first tracking code is the Master tracking number
  • Subsequent tracking codes are Additional tracking numbers

Each parcel in a multiparcel shipment will be tracked individually.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

DPD CH supports Cash on Delivery service for domestic shipments within Switzerland:

  • COD is only available in Swiss Francs (CHF)
  • The COD amount is applied to the first parcel only
  • The amount will be collected upon delivery and remitted according to your agreement with DPD CH

Return Labels

DPD CH supports return labels for your shipments. When creating a return shipment, the system automatically configures the label for return processing.

Label Formats

DPD CH supports the following label formats:

  • PDF A6: Standard PDF label format in A6 portrait orientation
  • ZPL 100x150mm 203 DPI: Thermal label format for 203 DPI printers (typically Zebra)

Make sure your label printer is compatible with your selected format.
