How to fix Magento 1 issues

1. Connection issues

 

❓What should I do if something went wrong during the connection with Magento 1?

Don’t worry! Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Check your Store URL

  • Ensure that the Store URL you entered is correct.

  • It must match exactly what you see in your browser’s address bar, including http:// or https://.

Step 2: Check your Magento Credentials

  • Make sure you copied and pasted your Magento credentials correctly.

  • Verify each value carefully.

Step 3: Select “New” and “Processing” as Status and State

  • For Magento orders to be imported into ShippyPro, you must select at least New and Processing both as Status and State.

  • If not, the connection will succeed but ShippyPro won’t import orders ready for shipping.


 

❓ How can I know that Magento is correctly connected?

If the connection has been correctly established, you'll receive a positive message telling you that the marketplace has been successfully connected.

 

❓What does "Error 401" mean?

401 HTTP status means Unauthorized access.

  • Ask your technician to verify your Server Authentication Permissions.

  • Check that ShippyPro requests are not blocked by Cloudflare filters (errors 401 or 403).

 

2. Update issues

 

❓Can I send updates to Magento more than once?

Please note that Magento orders can only updated once, for this reason, we suggest you not to update it directly on the Marketplace but wait for it to be done from ShippyPro.

 

❓Can I send tracking updates to Magento?

Magento doesn't support our Track & Trace updates, for this reason they won't be shown on the marketplace.

 

 

3. Import issues

 

❓When and where will my orders be imported?

After Magento 1 has been successfully connected, all your pending orders will be imported together with order details and product images in Orders > To Ship in the next 10 minutes, ready to be shipped in a few clicks.

Inside To Ship section you are able to display all your pending orders imported from your stores every 10 minutes.

Note: Orders can be imported from a maximum of 30 days.

❓Do you support Third Party App?

If you employ third party plugin (such as m2epro) order's data may not be imported or be imported incorrect.

Until further news exclude M2E pro orders by checking “exclude external order” inside Magento connection menu.

❓Why do I see the wrong image for my items?

In case you have different products, you'd need that each product has a different SKU: otherwise in case of repeated SKUs and different image, only the first image will be displayed for each one.
