This Method is a Premium API and allows you to allows you to request the pickup availability time slots for all supported Carriers with a single API call.

💡 With this Method you can:

  • Optimize your operations and fulfillment process booking the pick up at the time that best suits you.

  • Speed-up Carrier pick-ups.

  • Avoid unexpected cancellations or rescheduling of pickups.

Summary

Before you start

Please note that you must have at least a working Carrier connection to make any shipment. For help or any information on how to connect a Carrier, please check our help article here. After you have connected at least one Carrier, you will be able to get CarrierID, CarrierName, and CarrierService at the bottom of the API Keys ShippyPro page.

📌 Currently, only FedEx provides a service compatible with the Get Pickup Availability method.

How it works

This method allows you to know, for each supported carrier and delivery service, the pickup time slots at a specified address. The method will respond with the list of eligible delivery services and their respective available pickup time slots.

Once you have checked the Carriers' pickup availabilities, you can book a pickup using the BookPickup API method.
