💡 With this Method you can:

  • Add an already shipped order in ShippyPro to benefit of post shipping ShippyPro features as tracking or returns

  • Use our Easy Return or Track and Trace features without generating the shipping labels via ShippyPro

  • Link the new order to an existing one in the to-ship section


Before you start

Please note that orders in ShippyPro have an internal ShippyPro OrderID. You must use this value to retrieve your orders with this Method. You can find your order number in the TransactionID field.

How it works

This Method allows you to manage orders with ShippyPro also if you have already shipped them in another way, and benefit from our Tracking and Return product features or related API Methods.

You can also link the new order to an existing one.

📌 The tracking information is retrieved from the carriers' API, therefore it will include all the tracking steps, not just those that happened after the orders were imported into ShippyPro.

📌 Include the tracking code of the entire shipment and not of the individual packages in the "TrackingCode" field.

In case you import the orders and the tracking updates are UNKNOWN, it's possible that the credentials for the carrier you connected are wrong, or the integration needs an additional activation (such as BRT). In that case, please refer to each carrier's specific connection guide you can find in our HELP center.
