Summary:
1. Before you start
Kindly note that you'll be able to connect USPS only if you have a direct USPS account, reseller account won't be supported.
As a first thing you should contact eVS@usps.gov to request the Activation Token.
Bear in mind that eVS is a IMPB package service designed for High Volume mailers, which does not mail Letters, Postcards or Flats and its minimum volume requirements are 50 pcs or 50 lbs for each mailing.
2. Connection steps
Then just proceed to connect your USPS account from Carriers by clicking on USPS logo and adding your Token.
Select then USPS API under Integration Type ( 📌note that Visible API activations have been stopped for the time being):
Pick your Label Format between:
PDF
ZPL
3. Additional Options
You'll also see some three other options, let's take a look at them!
Validate Address: allows you to Detect and correct wrong addresses before shipping: so that your package is always delivered to the right address.
Test Mode: let you make some test shipments.
Print Return label (Only USPS API): enable this option if you'd like to print Return Labels together with Shipment Label.
