My Carrier's rates are wrong

Learn what to do when your Carrier Prices are wrong

You've just tried shipping one of your orders but the tariffs shown do not correspond to the negotiated rates from your contract.

What to do now? 

Here are some tips that might help! 🔍

  1. If the order is shipped with DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT, try and make a quotation for the same shipment in your Carrier account. Enter the same data as in ShippyPro (sender, recipient, parcels weight and dimensions).

    Then check if services and prices match with the one shown inside your ShippyPro profile.

  • If rates do not match, please try to disable the option Show tariffs with no VAT rates from My Profile > Preferences > Carriers preferences.

  • If you have enabled Test Mode but your credentials are production credentials, try disabling this option from Couriers > Edit:


2. If the carrier doesn't have a live rating system, please check the price list that you set for that specific carrier from Carriers > Edit prices.

  • From the menu on the top left, you can select the zone. Match then weight ranges and prices in order to calculate the exact rate.

  • Check also the right column with all additional options like surcharges and VAT:

3. I see the following error in Excluded Carriers section when I'm trying to create my shipments: There were no zones matching this shipment' country/postcode. Please check the configured zones for this carrier inside the carriers page > Edit Prices

You should to go to Carriers > Connections > Edit Prices section and correctly configure your shipping zones (countries).

4. I see the following error in Excluded Carriers section when I'm trying to create my shipments: There were no weight ranges matching XXX. Please check the configured weight ranges for this carrier inside the carriers page > Edit Prices

You should to go to Carriers > Connections > Edit Prices section and configure the correct weight range and price. In case you don't want to configure the pricelist for your carrier, you can insert a fictitious value, e.g. 0-100kg = 0€.

5. If your Carrier's rates are shown as zero, it's most probably because they have not been set yet.

Some Carriers, in fact, need rates to be recorded manually from Carriers >Edit Prices.
