How to connect Speedy to ShippyPro
Updated over a week ago

Speedy is among the largest parcel service providers.

In this article, you will learn how to connect Speedy to ShippyPro and add additional options such as a return label in the box or paperless trade to your existing connection.

Summary:

1. Before you start

To connect Speedy you should ask your Speedy contact to activate API on your Credentials.

2. Connection steps

Now that everything is correctly set up in B2C Europe portal, you're ready to connect it to ShippyPro.

  • Navigate to Carriers and click on Speedy Logo (simply type "B2C Europe" on the search bar to spot it in a sec).

  • Enter your Username and Password

  • Pick then your label type:

    • PDF

    • PDF A6

    • ZPL

3. Additional options

  • If you want, you can also enter a Custom Label to recognize the connection among all the others.

  • The Sender Contract details are optional. You will not be able to manually insert them, but once the credentials are added and confirmed, you will see the available options.

  • Manage end of month pickup: If your packages are picked up by the carrier some days later than the label creation, we suggest you to enable this option. This will help Speedy to have a better management of labels created before the end of a month but physically shipped in the successive month.

4. Troubleshooting & Errors

  • "Recipient site ID not found"

This message indicates that there's something wrong with the postal code or the city of the recipient, the customer should check if the fields are correctly filled out.

  • "hub-limit.violated Exceeded daily delivery capacity"

This message indicates that you delivered too many shipments to the destination hub.

You should check with you carrier's referent to increase the limit.
